| My Career Center | View Job Cart | Back to Search Page | Title: Project Mechanical Engineer Job Title Description: Mechanical Engineer ARCA Number: arca-00006318P Location(s): Irvine CA                 Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Project Mechanical Engineer shall provide support for space planning, project controls and project management teams. Candidates shall demonstrate knowledge of construction management, construction process and practices, leading and participating in a team environment, providing field and technical engineering support to construction project teams, working with regulatory agencies for entitlement, permitting and building code requirements. Candidates shall have experience with project management practices including scope, schedule, budget and risk analysis. Project Mechanical Engineer shall participate directly in bid package development, pre-construction, support of the project team during construction and closeout. Experience in the assessment of existing facilities is required. LEED AP accreditation and project experience is desired. Position requirements include, but are not limited to: Minimum eight years experience in commercial, industrial, educational and/or public facilities mechanical engineering design and construction is required. Must be able to review mechanical engineering design documents (drawings & specifications). Must have good understanding and knowledge of building codes and standards. * Minimum years of experience: 8 * Education required: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering * Registrations/Certifications required: Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Mechanical Engineering in the State of California is required. * Registrations/Certifications preferred: LEED AP, CCM, PMP, CEM * This position does require travel.
