Description:
The Groundskeeper is responsible for the following:
- Maintains grounds, interior and exterior landscape of shopping center
- Waters and fertilizes interior trees and plants
- Orders and replaces deteriorating interior plants
- Prunes interior trees to improve growth or removes damaged leaves, branches, or twigs
- Cleans plant pots and tree wells inside of mall
- Coordinates seasonal plant displays with Marketing
- Maintains plants at all entrances
- Cuts lawns
- Trims and edges around walks flower beds, and walls
- Sprays shrubs, lawns, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides
- Shovels snow from walks and driveways
- Spreads ice melt on public passage ways to prevent ice build up
- Maintains irrigation system in operating condition
- Coordinates with outside contractors for completion of work
- This position is physically demanding. Candidate must be able to regularly bend, kneel, push, and lift up to 50 lbs. in all outdoor weather conditions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- 1 - 3 years experience in related field
- 1 - 2 years experience chemical handling
- Landscape license desired
