Utilities Supervisor

Relocation: Availability of relocation assistance for this position is yet to be determined.

Maintain Utilities (refrigeration, Compressed Air, Boilers and WWTP) plant and all equipment in a fully operational and safe state which consistently supports our production requirements while at the same time managing cost and utility usage.

The major accountabilities of this position are:

1. Provide tactical direction for Utilities (Refrigeration, Boilers and WasteWater Treatment Plant) that will support production operations.
2. Implement Utilities' Reliability Systems - facilitate continuous improvement.
3. Drive utility optimization and waste reduction efforts in the factory.
4. Develop daily operator work plans to maximize operator/utility mechanic efficiency.
5. Generate weekly progress reports based on uptime, AMM completion rates, and other departmental kpi's.
6. Manage Utility resources to achieve and maintain compliance with Federal & State regulations and permits, Nestlé's instructions and auditing programs.
7. Review daily utility logs and take corrective actions against process deviations as required.
8. Modify or build support equipment as directed by engineering ' provide coordination with internal or external resources (Engineers, vendors, consultants, contractors, etc.).
9. Point contact for all utility 3rd parties ' chemical vendors, insurance audits, etc.
10. Develop and track training for the Department.
11. Develop and implement equipment PM's and facilitate the AMM process.
12. Create a positive & productive environment - foster associate participation and value added contributions.
13. Support Nestlé Programs and Policies including affirmative action goals and commitments, SHE Strategies and Corporate Citizenship initiatives.

Education : A high school diploma or GED is required. Preference will be given to candidates with an associate or Vocational Degree in Utilities, Skilled Trade or related field. A Bachelor's degree is desirable.

Experience: 5-+ years related recent experience in Wastewater, Refrigeration and/ or Maintenance/equipment reliability function in increasingly challenging and responsible positions is required.
