Create and lead execution of long term and annual marketing plans for some of the Hispanic brands (Exact brand(s) to be determined based on successful candidate's background Nescafé Clasico, Abuelita, La Lechera, Maggi, Carlos V and Nido are our brands that have collectively achieved strong growth of +20%/year).
* Develop the product portfolio, branding strategies, product line positioning, and execute short and long term marketing objectives.
* P and L responsibility for all brands managed.
* Work collaboratively with Emerging Markets Domestic Sales team to drive growth with authentic Hispanic retailers and mainstream retailers striving to reach the Hispanic consumer.
* Collaborate across the division with other brand managers and cross functional partners.
* Understand and manage all key issues that impact the business driving to meet business objectives.
* Understand relevant marketplace dynamics and other key issues leading to appropriate recommendations for the marketing mix (e.g., product quality, pricing, promotions, distribution).
* Create and lead a deep understanding on our Hispanic consumer, specific to Brand's Target.
* Analyze category, brand and competitive trends and dynamics leading to key conclusions and implications.
* Provide leadership cross functionally on assigned projects.
* Proactively recommend business building ideas (e.g. line extensions).
* Provide analysis in the areas of consumption and shipments, category dynamics and budgeting.
* Develop and execute promotion and packaging development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum three years marketing experience, in packaged goods or other relevant experience
* B.S./B.A. required, MBA preferred.
* Must have strong strategic, conceptual thinking, financial, analytical and organizational skills.
* Must have the ability to manage many projects, and be strategic thinker with strong leadership skills.
* Successful candidate must be fluent in Spanish and have an understanding of the cultural background of US Hispanics from Mexico and other important countries of origin for US hispanics (Latin America and Caribbean). Ideal candidate will also possess a good understanding of how business operates in the US.
* Need to have a high tolerance for ambiguity.
* Excellent interpersonal verbal, presentation and written communication skills and the ability to interact and motivate a variety of cross-functional team members including Advertising, Promotions, Consumer Research, Technical, R and D, and Sales.
* Travel required.
