MEDICAL ASSISTANT (CLINIC ASSISTANT I), MIT Medical (two part-time openings, 17.5 hrs/wk.), to be responsible for performing routine medical assistant functions within the urgent care service. Will be responsible for assisting clinicians with routine examinations, phlebotomy, EKGs, and special procedures; and perform medical and clerical support functions related to patient care, medical record documentation, treatment room preparation, and the maintenance of supplies and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS: a high school diploma and graduate of an approved medical assistant program; and a minimum of two years of medical assisting experience working with adults and children in an outpatient setting. Must demonstrate the ability to work in a busy, team-oriented environment, displaying sensitivity to the needs of patients. Experience with personal computers and Windows-based computer applications required. MIT-00006657-4
