Under the general supervision of the Supervisor / Manager, Inpatient Pharmacy, and within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care in an institutional practice setting. Primary, essential job functions involve ensuring rational drug therapy through a focus on drug compounding / distribution. Must be willing / able to support the clinical pharmacy activities as required. A commitment to patient safety, customer satisfaction, efficient / effective use of resources, teamwork, innovation, and performance improvement is required.

Education/Training:
1.Graduate of an accredited college/university with a B.S. in Pharmacy or a Pharm.D. degree is required.
2.Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency is desirable.
Licensure: Must have a current license in good standing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy or be eligible for licensure in MA. In lieu of an active MA license, candidates must attain MA licensure prior to working 1000 hours at the Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA).
Work Experience: Previous institutional experience as a pharmacist is highly desirable.
