Title: Staff Engineer - Integrated Logistics Support

Position Description:
ITT Communications Systems (CS), Fort Wayne, Indiana has a significant career opportunity for a talented Staff Engineer specializing in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) design. You will perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) systems engineering on various programs throughout CS. Specifically, you will ensure that ILS tenets and requirements are incorporated into the program through the application of supportability design tools, trade-offs and sufficient design support to ensure that the
products and systems developed at CS can be effectively supported either by the customer or ITT, once deployed. Additionally, the successful candidate must architect and manage the implementation of the support system (e.g., Training Manuals, training, provisioned spares, etc.).

Experience Requirements:
Education, Experience and Knowledge Requirements:

Equivalent Educational Requirements: BS Degree, with an MS or Ph.D. preferred, in Engineering or other scientific field or equivalent experience derived from Military experience in tactical communications field and sustainment maintenance.

Experience and Knowledge Required: Eight to twelve years
engineering experience to include the following: Design Product for Support: Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Safety engineering experience; Human Factors Engineering experience: HMI/HCI design, HMI/HCI evaluation and analysis,
conduct focus groups, user juries, etc.; Maintainability Engineering experience: design evaluation, MTTR analysis, conducting M Demonstrations, Built-in test (BIT) design. Design Support for Product: Logistics Support Analysis and
management, Level of repair analysis (LORA), Optimum Repair Level Analysis (ORLA), trades studies and analysis, provisioning experience, support system design, support equipment definition and selection, tech pubs experience, training; Training Development: Classroom/platform training experience, and
experience developing exportable training materials, computer-based training materials, test programs, test requirements and test strategy.

Military Experience: Supply officer or sergeant; Electronics maintenance officer or sergeant. Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) a plus but not required.

Candidate selected will be subject to a government security
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
