Position Description:
Provide requirements support to the Fires Center of Excellence (FCOE) Capabilities Development Integration Directorage (CDID) with regards to the Medium Extended Air Defense System (MEADS). Provides Senior Military Analyst analytic support and consultation to CDID which includes Materiel Development Decision and Analysis of Alternatives efforts. Provides Senior Military Analyst analytic support and consultation to CDID, which includes Materiel Development Decision and Analysis of Alternatives efforts. Serves as an organizational Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CDID while providing SME review and revisions of Army and Joint air and missile defense documents. Supports the development, coordination, and staffing for approval of the MEADS CPD, associated documents to include supporting the DOTMLPF and MANPRINT efforts associated with the Army AMD. Supports the MEADS Air and Missile Defense organization design while being an SME on Army MEADS AMD concepts and campaign planning. Supports development of Concepts of Operations to include the CONOPS for MEADS for the Joint Air Ground Control Cell to include supporting the development of the Network Transport Capabilities Based Assessment (CBA) and the analysis, test and evaluation. Develops and reviews Basis of Issue Plans and Feeder Sheets to ensure appropriate personnel and new equipment are being considered for ADA unit to include supporting the development of organizational diagrams and unit reference sheets (URS) in support of Force Design Updates (FDU). Experience Requirements:
At least 5 years experience in US Army Air Defense Artillery Branch. Experience at the Battery, Battalion or higher level staff as Battery Commander, S3/operations. BA/BS degree required. Must possess current functional skills on the Microsoft Office software suite. Must be about to obtain a US security clearance which requires US citizenship.
