Title: Contracts Manager

ITT Communications Systems has a significant career opportunity for a Contracts Manager Contracts. The Contracts Manager will plan, direct and control the overall contract management function and associated legal activities for moderate to large dollar value programs requiring a high level of skill due to complexity. Includes administration of complex programs and activities including Other Transaction Agreements, software licensing agreements, teaming agreements, FMS programs and commercial transactions. Other activities include reviewing contractual documents, issuing contract releases, developing proposals, preparing correspondence, resolving customer problems and controlling deliveries; serve as the primary interface with the Customer for discussion of significant business issues and negotiation of major proposals for the assigned programs; provide real time communications and visibility to Manager, Contract Administration and the Vice President/Director of Contracts.

Experience Requirements:
Equivalent Education Level Required: Bachelors degree in business, finance or management; Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance or law preferred.
Experience Required: 8-10 years diversified experience in the field of Contract Administration.
Knowledge Required: Requires advanced and comprehensive knowledge
of Contract Administration and procurement laws and regulations. Also requires an understanding and working knowledge of Business Development, Finance, Law, and Computer Automation. Export and international contracting experience preferred.
Must possess demonstrated knowledge of contracts management and leadership to support pursuits and business activities overseas; must possess strong verbal and written skills; be knowledgeable in procurement laws and regulations including the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Requires an understanding and working knowledge of finance cost principles, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Candidate selected will be subject to a government security
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
