Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to write embedded software for a wide variety of products including wireless communication devices, real-time systems, anti-terrorism products, intelligence gathering devices, etc. Be a part of the full system design process (planning, design, implementation, debugging, production, etc.) Work with a wide range of processors, from small 8-bit microcontrollers to powerful GHz+ 64-bit processors.
Responsibilities:
-Design, implement, and test firmware in remotes to accomplish mission requirements
-Define required hardware interfaces
-Identify the required development environment
-Identify the correct microcontroller/microprocessor for the system
-Develop Real-time microcontroller firmware or software
-Develop Real-time microprocessor firmware or software
-Write Windows Driver Model (WDM) device drivers

Experience Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and at least 4 years of experience required
- Experience writing embedded software in C and assembly language required
- Familiarity with common hardware architectures
- Understanding of differences in coding for different processors (bit depth, etc)
- Understanding of trade-offs between coding for size (small foot print) versus speed (performance)
-Current Secret Clearance REQUIRED
Bonus Skills:
- Familiar with common hardware architectures, like Intel reference designs and MIPS architecture
- Digital design, networking skills and schematic layout
