Title: Staff Engineer

Position Description:
ITT Communications Systems (CS)

Responsible for full software development cycle for real time embedded communications systems. This will include, but not limited to, software architecture, design, code and test. Must use UML, OOA/OOD, structured techniques to specify architecture and design. In addition, implement code in either C or C++ in a real time embedded environment is a big plus.

Must have excellent organizational skills and must possess proven oral and written communication skills in a professional environment.

Experience Requirements:
Equivalent Educational Requirements: BS Degree, with MS or Ph.D. preferred, in Engineering or another scientific field.

Experience Required: Eight to twelve years engineering experience.

Knowledge Required: Must have a minimum of four years experience in Object Oriented Analysis / Object Oriented Design (OOA/OOD). Experience in SW Architecture Development, C++ and SW requirements management required. Applicant must have a minimum of one year hands on experience with CORBA/SCA.

Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
