' Expand and improve functionality for a Flash-based front-end of an online assessment system.
' Optimize and extend Flash productivity tools for handling content creation and review.
' Assist in the design and implementation of new interfaces for online testing.
' Participate in transitioning code to interface with new systems and content standards.
' Manage software development schedules and employ risk management strategies.
' Oversee contractors when additional developers are required.
' Create technical documentation on new functionality.
' Create functional prototypes for use within usability testing.

' Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
' 2-8 years or more of related professional experience.
' Experience with ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0, Custom Flash component creation, XML handling within Flash, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) that could be applied to Flash development.
' Familiarity with C#, C++, XML, and Flash's parsing capabilities.
' Ability to anticipate and tackle new technologies, RIA frameworks, and methodologies such as JSFL, Prism, Flex, and Adobe AIR.
' Experience identifying, quantifying, and managing project risks and software development delays.
' Commitment to technical design planning and documentation.
' Experience with process and workflow analysis and improvement.
' Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
' Effective communication skills ' both verbal and written.
' Ability to solve complex problems.
' Strong team player, able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
