Agency Policy

Welcome to Itron's Online Agency Portal. As an approved recruiting partner, you may be asked by Itron's Human Resources Department to solicit candidates for specific job requisitions for Itron. Please read through the following information to better understand candidate ownership and valid submissions.

Although an Agency may, under certain circumstances, have contact with other Itron staff members and hiring managers, only the Itron Human Resources Department ("H.R. Department") has the authority to authorize you to solicit candidates for specific requisitions. If you are authorized to solicit candidates for a specific requisition by a member of the H.R. Department, you will be given the corresponding unique Job ID number to submit with your candidate. If you have any questions about whether you have been authorized to work on a specific requisition, please immediately direct those questions to Itron Compliance & Talent Acquisition Department at Talent@Itron.com.

Within its sole discretion, Itron will recognize as valid Referrals from an Agency (i.e., referrals that are eligible for a placement fee) only those Referrals which are made while a valid written agreement between the Agency and Itron (an "Agreement") is in effect. A "Referral" shall consist of an Agency submitting a resume, Curriculum Vitae, or information identifying the Candidate and his/her qualifications and corresponding unique Job ID number via this website.

Itron will not consider unsolicited Referrals sent to Itron by an Agency. Therefore, no Agency will receive a placement fee for an unsolicited referral, even if the unsolicited referral is submitted while a valid agreement is in effect. An "unsolicited Referral" will be defined as a Referral which has not been authorized by the H.R. Department and/or does not identify the unique Job ID number for which it is being submitted.

Referral of a candidate may be made for up to five unique Job ID numbers. Itron will honor such referrals for the authorized requisition numbers for a period of twelve months after submission to Itron.

Notwithstanding any prior agreements to the contrary, if Itron makes an offer to the candidate for any position, including but not limited to the identified position, more than twelve months after the date the candidates current resume, Curriculum Vitae, or information was submitted to Itron by an Agency, no placement fee will be paid to the Agency for the referral.

If Itron receives Referrals of a candidate, the agency that first submits the candidate for a particular requisition that results in employment in that requisition will be credited with the placement. Itron has the sole and exclusive authority to determine any agency's entitlement to payment of a placement fee. If a number of agencies submit a candidate who is subsequently hired by Itron, Itron will be responsible for only one placement fee. If a candidate's direct contact with Itron results in employment, whether Itron or the candidate initiates the direct contact, then no placement fee will be due from Itron to any agency. Itron will make, within its sole and absolute discretion, the final decision for awarding any placement fee.
